Stargate: The Ark of Truth

Movie Summary: Stargate: Ark of Truth concludes the storyline that provided the major conflict of the last two seasons, the battle to prevent the Ori invasion of the Milky Way galaxy. With the Ori mostly destroyed in the series finale, “Unending,” the remaining Priors are now the greatest threat to mankind. But there is hope of defeating them in an ancient device called the Ark of Truth. As the title implies, the search for that particular deus ex machina is the main focus of the new movie.

Amanda’s Role:Amanda plays Lt. Samantha Carter of SG-1. In this movie Carter searches the Asgard core for the code that Marrick hinted would shut down the Replicators. Mitchell and Marrick fight but Mitchell gains control and eventually electrocutes Marricks. He finds the detonator for the bomb he planted near the queen replicator and radios Carter to tell her where to look for the shut-down code. Mitchell sets off the bomb and destroys Marrick’s body but Carter and her team, busy fighting off the remaining Replicators, have little attention to spare to find the shut-down code. Carter finds and executes the Replicator shut-down code just in time to save Mitchell.
